The mission of the Winnie Watson Foundation is to further the passions of Winnie and her talents for play by making early childhood education, dance, art, and opportunities for creative and outside play more accessible to all children.
Upcoming Events:
On July 20th, 2024 from 9 am to 12 pm at the Canyon Rim Park (3100 S Grace St, Millcreek, UT 84109), The Winnie Watson Foundation is partnering with Canyon Rim Cares to paint murals for The Foundation of Hospital Art. These murals will be hung in local hospitals. 12 total canvases will be painted, which when completed will create 2 murals that are approximately 5 feet by 5 feet in size. Each canvas is pre-drawn with a paint-by-numbers style that should be easy for most to follow, but best to have adult supervision for younger kids as some sections can be fairly detailed. Please join us in painting canvas murals that will bring comfort and hope to individuals and families receiving care and make the hospital a more welcoming place. No artistic experience is necessary, and children are welcome to participate in this project with adult supervision.
